Ready to open his home and chat about what he loved doing, namely restoring old run-down homes. As the years passed on he'd become more rickety and perhaps had let his guard down. I enjoyed our brief "San Miguel Evening" and I suppose many others over the years had known and enjoyed his company in a similar way.
